II · Field note

Cedar takes the drought.
Fig breaks the stone.
Between them, water remembers a way out.

The Allelopath is a solo doom / black-metal project built from sustained guitar, low-tuned repetition, and the friction between living systems.

Its central image is not decoration. Ashe juniper and fig occupy the same limestone fault, their roots divided by a spring forced toward daylight. The music begins inside that tension: persistence and intrusion, shelter and harm, pressure and release.

Written and recorded in Austin, Texas.
